Lego lovers are invited to take part in daily build challenges whilst schools are closed

Milton Keynes Brick Festival is sharing daily build challenges to encourage Lego lovers to get creative whilst the country is in lockdown.

A new challenge will be posted on Milton Keynes Brick Festival's Facebook page at 9am each day.

"That will help to keep children (and those young at hearts) occupied and focused on a positive activity," a spokesperson said. "This will also aid social isolation as it will keep them involved with something that is bigger and part of a community. Many of the challenges posted will touch on STEM subjects – helping to develop various skills in a variety of ways."

Challenges so far have included building alien planets, parachutes, and kitchen utensils, all out of Lego.

People are encouraged to share their builds in the comments section where a winner will be chosen each day. The winning builder will receive a ticket to the Milton Keynes Brick Festival which is scheduled to take place at Woughton Leisure Centre on 17th October 2020.
