Just over three weeks until thousands of fans visit Milton Keynes for UK's Strongest Man competition

Thousands of fans are getting ready to visit Stadium MK later this month for the UK's Strongest Man competition.

It will see the strongest men from across the UK compete to win the title of the UK's Strongest Man, with competitors such as Ireland's strongest man Matthew 'The Real' McCoy and Mark Felix 'The Dark Destroyer' from England, who at 54-years-old is the oldest competitor, taking part.

The event, taking place on the bank holiday weekend from 29th to 31st May, will be hosted by former professional footballer and TV presenter Chris Kamara.

12,000 tickets are being sold for fans to watch the competitors flipping cars, pulling trucks, lifting motorbikes over their head, and taking part in other gruelling tests.

Gavin 'The Bull' Bilton is the reigning champion of the UK's Strongest Man 2020 and will be returning to defend his title.

He said: "To perform in a stunning stadium is every strongman’s dream. Last year I won the title with no fans attending, so this time around I want to do it again in front of a huge crowd. The fans are going to love seeing us throw cars, bikes and trucks around."

The event will be sponsored by food chain Fridays which will be fuelling athletes, crew and fans with its special Strongman menu.

Chris Kamara, UK’s Strongest Man’s host, added: “We are excited to be at Fridays MK Stadium over the May Bank Holiday. The restaurant will undoubtedly be packed with fans, athletes and me, of course! See you there for that Fridays Feeling!”

From 8am every day this week, Darren and Lia from MKFM's Breakfast Show will be giving away free tickets to the UK's Strongest Man.

The dynamic duo will ask you a question and you will have 24 hours to enter. Text 81400, starting your message with MKFM, your name and your answer,
