The 23rd January marks Milton Keynes’ 54th birthday, and one local resident is lucky enough to share the same big day.
Whilst most of us share a birthday with famous celebrities or significant days in history, sharing a birthday with the creation of your hometown is pretty unique.
Mum of two Clare Worster will be celebrating her 43rd Birthday in Bletchley, where she has lived for the last 13 years.
Born in Ashford, Middlesex, Clare moved to Milton Keynes when she was 18 months old and ever since has only know Milton Keynes as her home.
She met her husband in the iconic Empire Nightclub in Milton Keynes, to whom she's now been married to for 19 years.
Clare's favourite birthday was her 40th with a big birthday party attended by her family and friends.
When lockdown is over, Clare hopes to reunite with her friends for a night out in MK.
As Milton Keynes continues to grow in the 54th year of existence, Clare hopes that there will be more for young people to do in Milton Keynes in the future.
But most of all, just like the world, for Milton Keynes to return to normality.
