Halloween drive-in cinema to launch in Milton Keynes raising money for MK Food Bank

Families will be able to celebrate Halloween by visiting a drive-in cinema this year, with all profits raised going towards the MK Food Bank.

MyMiltonKeynes has launched MyCinema, next to The Point, and will be showing 12 classic Halloween films throughout October half term.

Movies will be shown on a big screen allowing up to 96 cars to watch in a COVID-secure environment.

Family-friendly movies will be shown, including Frankenweenie and Hocus Pocus, while there will also be movies more suited to adults including The Exorcist and Scream.

Competitions for the "most ghoulish outfits" will also be taking place throughout the week. Organisers are calling on guests to get dressed up and decorate their cars accordingly. There will be a £50 gift voucher up for grabs with the daily winner being announced at the end of each show.

During the event, MyCinema will be supporting the MK Food Bank who are currently delivering over 1,000 food parcels to families throughout the city. Tickets will cost £5 per car (plus booking fee) and all sales will be donated to the charity.

Bookings open Monday 19th October, find out more here
