It has been announced that the grazing sheep will soon be moved out of Campbell Park, which is their current home.

The Parks Trust's grazing sheep regularly move around Milton Keynes to maintain grass and promote biodiversity in local parks.

They spent the end of 2020 in the Nature Reserve Field at Stanton Low, and were moved to Campbell Park in January 2020.

These sheep have since become a highlight of people's lockdown walks, with plenty of photographs of the photogenic sheep being shared on social media.

But now that the sheep have completed their job at Campbell Park, they are gearing up to move elsewhere across the city.

A spokesperson for The Parks Trust said: "The sheep have done such a fantastic job grazing #CampbellPark that they will be moving on soon!

"We will share an update in the week with details of their new locations. Thank you to everyone for their continued support in keeping dogs on leads around livestock."

The grazing sheep have been a key part of The Parks Trust's farming technique for decades, not only being an environmentally friendly way to maintain our parkland but also saving the charity time and resources which can be better utilised elsewhere.
