Get moving in March with MacIntyre

MacIntyre, a national charity that supports over 1,200 people with learning disabilities and/or autism in the UK, with over 200 people supported here in Milton Keynes, is launching their ‘Move with MacIntyre’ fundraising challenge this March.

The challenge, which runs from 1-31 March, encourages people from across the country to get on their feet and take part in an exercise of their choice to raise money for people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

There are plenty of ways to get involved, whether you like to dance, walk or jog. You could challenge yourself to climb your stairs, counting your steps until you reach the equivalent of Mount Snowden, or hop on a bicycle and see how far you can cycle each day.

Last year, the challenge raised over £4,500 which was used to purchase gardening and outdoor equipment for the people supported by MacIntyre, providing joy during such a challenging year.

Think you can move each day in March? MacIntyre are sharing a FREE Move with MacIntyre downloadable calendar. Colour in each trainer and share your calendar on social media using #MovewithMacIntyre.

You can also draw your favourite activity and share this with us too, a perfect activity for the kids!

You can support the 'Move with MacIntyre' challenge by donating directly to the fundraising page here.

You can also donate £5 by texting MOVE to 70490.
