Fourth person dies at Milton Keynes Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus

    Milton Keynes Hospital has confirmed that a fourth person, a man in his 70s, has died after testing positive for COVID-19.

    The man, who had underlying health conditions, passed away on Wednesday (18/3).

    A spokesperson from MK Hospital said: “We can confirm that a patient in his 70s who had underlying health conditions sadly died on Wednesday, March 18. He had tested positive for COVID-19.

    “Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.”

    This marks the fourth death related to COVID-19 to take place at the hospital. 

    Last weekend, a man and a woman, both in their nineties, passed away after testing positive for the virus. Read the story here.
