At roughly 9:57am earlier this morning (14/07), local emergency services raced to the scene of a road traffic collision on the Junction of Griffith Gate and Tongwell Street, Middleton.
Attending the scene from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue was one appliance and crew from Broughton station, as well as one from Newport Pagnell station.
Upon arrival, firefighters did not observe anyone to be trapped.
However, firefighters did assist a man and a woman who were injured during the course of the incident.
Due to the extent of their injuries, they were left in the care of the ambulance service.
Firefighters then made the site safe so that the road could reopen promptly.
