Emergency services attend the scene following a motorway collision in Milton Keynes earlier today

    At 11:26am earlier this morning (17/05), local emergency services attended the scene of a motorway collision between a car and a lorry.

    The incident in question took place between the Newport Pagnell Service Area and junction 14 on the M1 southbound.

    Attending the scene from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service was one appliance and crew from Broughton.

    A woman was out of her car and another two men were out of their lorry once crews had arrived.

    The responding firefighters assisted with any injuries by using a medical kit and proceeded to make the site safe.

    There were reports of congestion to the opposite side of the accident due to onlookers. However, it is believed that the road has now cleared and traffic is currently coping well.
