Emberton Park near Milton Keynes to re-open for cars from tomorrow

    Milton Keynes Council have announced that Emberton Park will be re-opening for cars from tomorrow.

    The park has been accessible only by foot since the start of lockdown in line with government guidance.

    Council officials say that entry times to vehicles will be from from 9.15am with the last entry at 4.45pm. 

    Capacity will be limited.

    Exact money to gain entry into the park or contactless payment is only accepted.

    In line with Government guidance, play areas, outdoor gym equipment, the holiday home park, camping fields, caravans, tents and motorhomes will all remain closed.

    BBQs are also not permitted.

    Fishing areas and toilets will be open to the public.

    The open spaces are accessible for pedestrians if government rules on social distancing are adhered to.

    Milton Keynes Council say the plans will be reviewed again in June 2020.
