EDC 2017 Milton Keynes 'indefinitely postponed'

The organisers of the 2017 Electric Daisy Carnival in Milton Keynes say that the event has been 'indefinitely postponed'.

The event was due to take place at the National Bowl this July with previous headliners including Avicii and Calvin Harris.

Whilst usually being well attended, it has suffered from a number of problems in the past with stabbings and people unable to get home due to a lack of public transport.

A statement on the event website says that: "Our plans to grow and improve the festival at Milton Keynes have not developed as we had hoped, and we are not going to be able to stage EDC UK this July in a manner that meets all of our high expectations."

"As a result, we are indefinitely postponing the show until we can properly reimagine all areas of the experience. We apologise for the inconvenience we know this causes, and we thank you for your understanding."

The organisers say that most customers will be refunded automatically in line with the retailer's terms and conditions.

Customers having difficulty obtaining a refund should email info@electricdaisycarnival.co.uk or call 020 7009 3001 from 9am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
