Double yellow lines proposed for roads in these Milton Keynes estates to prevent 'inconsiderate parking'

Double yellow lines have been proposed for multiple estate roads to try and prevent 'inconsiderate parking' in the areas.

Milton Keynes Council has launched a formal consultation on the proposal of a Traffic Regulation Order that would see ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions be introduced.

This order would apply to parts of the following roads in Beanhill, Bletchley, Broughton, Kingston, Middleton, Willen and Winterhill:

    Beanhill

    Maslin Drive

    Bletchley

Larch Grove, Stoke Road, Drayton Road, Manor Road, Mill Road, Phelps Road, Windermere Drive, Ennerdale Close and Southland Drive

    Broughton

    Tanfield Lane

    Kingston

Chippenham Drive, Mandeville Drive, Winchester Circle and Greyfriars Court

    Middleton

    Tyhurst

    Winterhill

    Grampian Gate

    Willen

    Portland Drive

Milton Keynes Council says that "inconsiderate parking is causing safety issues" along these roads.

The local authority is calling on residents to have their say on the proposals.

Any objections, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to Milton Keynes Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-307.

The closing date for this consultation is 8th April 2021.
