Coronavirus vaccination slots at Milton Keynes Hospital are fully booked

All coronavirus vaccination slots at Milton Keynes Hospital are now fully booked.

Yesterday, MKFM revealed the good news that people over the age of 75 were being invited to call and book appointments for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. Previously, the vaccination was reserved for those over the age of 80, but this has since changed in a bid to vaccinate as many vulnerable people as possible.

There has been a high demand for the vaccine, both locally and nationally. It was reported in December that Milton Keynes Hospital's booking line was receiving a call every 30 seconds, leading to the slots being booked up very quickly.

This demand has continued once again, meaning now that all slots are full and the booking line has closed.

Patients who already have their appointments for a first COVID vaccination should attend the hospital as planned.

MKFM will bring you more information on the vaccine, and will publish news when the booking lines reopen.
