Third arrest made in Milton Keynes murder investigation

Thames Valley Police officers have made a further arrest today (5/1) in a murder investigation following the death of a man in Milton Keynes.

A 25-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He remains in police custody at this time.

The arrest is in connection with an incident at the Atesh venue in Grafton Gate East on 27 December in which 28-year-old Nagiib Maxamed sadly died.

A 29-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from the Birmingham area who were arrested yesterday (4/1) on suspicion of murder and attempted murder remain in police custody.

The news comes as Milton Keynes Council made the decision last night (4/1) to suspend the restaurants licence following a request from Thames Valley Police.

The restaurant has been ordered to cease trading with immediate effect.
