An overturned lorry is causing traffic chaos on the A5 in Milton Keynes.

Police and Fire services are on the scene at the road traffic collision.

Thames Valley Police say that the A4146 in the direction of Aylesbury is currently closed at the junction of the A5 and A4146 (McDonalds Roundabout).

There are also queues and reduced lanes on the rest of the roundabout.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route.

Pictures of an overturned lorry have been sent in to MKFM by Royce Hathaway, showing it blocking the A4146 turning.

Traffic is heavy in the affected area.

MKFM will provide further updates when we get them.
