Bletchley Park closes amid Coronavirus pandemic

    Bletchley Park have confirmed they will be closing until Thursday 30 April as a precautionary measure to help contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

    The measures, which will come into affect from 5pm on Thursday (19th March), will also see all events due to take place prior to 30 April cancelled, including the opening of the new Never Alone Exhibition – this will now take place in summer 2020.

    Bletchley Park have confirmed that any ticket holders can choose to re-book for a later donate or donate the cost of their ticket to the Trust.

    A statement on the Bletchley Park website read: “It is with deep disappointment that we have taken the difficult decision to close Bletchley Park.

    “While our doors will be closed for a while, our inspirational stories remain open to you online. Our team behind the scenes will be working hard to bring you stories to endeavour to lift your spirits over the days ahead."

    It added: “Over 95% of our income comes from our visitors, so your generous support will be invaluable, helping us to continue our education and heritage work when we reopen."
