Arrests made following robbery and assault in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police has arrested five people in connection with an incident of assault and an incident of robbery in Milton Keynes.

    At around 1pm on Tuesday (30/1) officers were informed of an assault which occurred outside the Point, Centre MK. The victim, a 15 year old girl, was assaulted by two girls.

    The victim was uninjured.

    At around 8pm yesterday (31/1) a robbery occurred outside Intu Shopping Centre, Milton Keynes, during which the victim, a 14 year old boy, was assaulted and had property stolen.

    The victim was uninjured.

    A 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, have all been arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault without injury in connection with the incidents.

    A 14-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of assault without injury in connection with the incidents.

    All five currently remain in police custody.

    Detective Sergeant Andy Pearce, based at Milton Keynes Police Station, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who has any details which could assist the investigation.
