91 positive coronavirus cases recorded throughout Milton Keynes today

    91 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Milton Keynes today (02/07), according to the latest data.

    The latest figures take the total number of cases to 21,492 since the start of the pandemic - of which are 299 local people who tested positive in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes now stands at 111 cases per 100,000 people, which is still below the national average of 181.1 cases per 100,000 people. 

    Nationally, there was an additional 27,125 people who tested positive yesterday.

    27 deaths were also recorded within 28 days of a positive test - none of these took place in Milton Keynes meaning the city's death toll remains at 463 since the start of the pandemic.

    176,121 local people have had their first dose of the vaccine so far and 120,505 people are now fully vaccinated.
