34 patients currently being treated in Milton Keynes Hospital have coronavirus according to latest data

    The latest update tells us that 34 patients being treated at Milton Keynes University Hospital have tested positive for coronavirus, with two patients currently being treated on a ventilator bed.

    The latest data, released by the government weekly, includes people admitted to MK Hospital who tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to their hospital admission and those who tested positive in hospital after admission.

    The data, which tells us how many patients are being treated in MKUH, tells us that as of Tuesday 30th November, there are 34 patients being cared for in MK Hospital, with two patients being treated on a ventilator. Last week there were 30 patients with one being treated with a ventilator.

    This comes as 311 positive tests were recorded yesterday, taking the total number of cases to 43,273 since the start of the pandemic.

    This is almost 100 more cases than this time last week.
