272 new coronavirus cases in Milton Keynes today

    There were 272 new coronavirus cases reported in Milton Keynes today, according to the latest data from Public Health England.

    It means a total of 13,965 cases have now been recorded in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic - with 2,450 being in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes has fallen again today from 935.2 cases per 100,000 people yesterday to 856.5 cases per 100,000 people today.

    Nationally, an additional 46,169 people have tested positive for the virus with a further 529 people sadly dying within 28 days of a positive test.

    For comparison, the current case rate in Bedford is 922.7, 574.7 in Central Bedfordshire, 914.8 in Luton and 593.2 for the UK as a whole.
