19 year old man broke coronavirus restrictions TWICE in less than 24 hours in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police have issued a 19-year-old man with a second fixed penalty notice for breaching coronavirus restrictions.

Both fines have been issued following breaches in Weavers Hill, Fullers Slade where the man was seen socialising with a group of people that were not part of his household and refused to adhere to the two metre social distancing guidelines.

The first breach took place at 9.35pm on Wednesday evening and the second at 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "These regulations are in place to save lives and we will enforce them when someone refuses to engage with us and change their behaviour accordingly."

"These fines quickly escalate and can result in a court appearance, demonstrating the seriousness of continuing to ignore the restrictions."

"We hope this serves as enough of a caution for this man to realise the seriousness of his actions and start adhering to the measures but we will continue with enforcement measures if this isn’t the case."
