124 positive coronavirus cases recorded throughout Milton Keynes yesterday

    124 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Milton Keynes today (11/07) according to the latest data.

    The latest figures take the total number of local cases to 22,393 since the start of the pandemic - of which are 682 people who tested positive in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes now stands at 253.1 cases per 100,000 people, which is still below the national average of 298.1 cases per 100,000 people.

    Nationally, there was an additional 31,722 people who tested positive today.

    26 deaths were also recorded within 28 days of a positive test - none of these took place in Milton Keynes meaning the city's death toll remains at 463 since the start of the pandemic.

    The latest available data says that 6 patients are in Milton Keynes Hospital due to COVID-19 with 1 patient currently on ventilation.

    179,631 local people have had their first dose of the vaccine so far and 128,332 people are now fully vaccinated.
