105 patients currently being treated in Milton Keynes Hospital have coronavirus according to latest data

    The latest update tells us that 105 patients being treated at Milton Keynes University Hospital have tested positive for coronavirus, with none currently being treated on ventilators.

    The latest data, released by the government weekly, includes people admitted to MK Hospital who tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to their hospital admission and those who tested positive in hospital after admission.

    The data, which tells us how many patients are being treated in MKUH, tells us that as of Tuesday 1st February, there are 105 patients being cared for in MK Hospital, with none being treated on a ventilator.

    Last week, there were 81 patients in MKUH.

    456 positive tests were recorded locally yesterday, taking the total number of cases to 79,537 since the start of the pandemic.

    Nationally, 88,171 people tested positive in the UK.

    All coronavirus data is provided by the government and NHS, no further information is provided on the variant, age, gender or the patients vaccination status.
