Motorists should be aware that there is still delay following an earlier collision.
National Highways has reported that vehicle recovery is now complete and all lanes are open on the M1 southbound between J15 Northampton and J14 Milton Keynes.
"Please allow time for the delays to ease, approx. 6 miles of slow moving traffic.
"Allow at least an extra 45 minutes journey time." National Highways tweeted.
It was reported earlier today that a multiple vehicle collision had taken place on the stretch of motorway near Milton Keynes.
