In this new 5 week silver jewellery making summer school course you will complete a new piece of jewellery every week. That's 5 pieces of jewellery to take away with you using 5 different techniques. Not only that, all materials are included in the course fee too!
Learn a range of silver jewellery making techniques and use traditional hand tools to create beautiful pieces of jewellery in a creative and supportive environment at my Milton Keynes-based workshop.
The course is suitable for total beginners and those with some experience.
The five week course will include step by step instructions each week and build on knowledge from previous weeks too.
You will get the opportunity to use sterling and fine silver sheet, sterling silver wire, gold foil, cabochon bezel cups and semi precious gemstones.
The course will include:
– Bangle making with shaped dies or rolled textures
– Ring making using different texturing hammers and twisted wires
– Pendant making using wire forming techniques and textured hammers
– Earrings/pendant with gold accents using the Korean technique of Keum-boo
– Cabochon stone setting using pre made bezel cup
