Shenley Church End Parish Council's annual Summer Fete will be held at Medbourne Pavilion on Saturday 6 July 2019. The event is FREE of charge and the fun starts at an earlier time of 11am this year. There will be lots of things going on all day and plenty of fun and entertainment throughout the afternoon!
We will be holding a raffle in support of Shenley Church End Parish Councils Charity of the Year. Our chosen charity for 2019/2020 is MKYIS, a Youth Counselling Service and long-running charity that is community led and provides free BACP accredited confidential counselling for young people aged 11-21 who live, learn or work in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. They work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, anger, recovery from abuse, family problems and relationship difficulties. As it is now recognised that 50% of mental health issues in adults present before the age of 14, and 75% before the age of 24, counselling can help to diagnose these issues early, giving young people the tools needed to manage, which can prevent re-occurrence and benefit their health and wellbeing for life.
Prizes are donated from lots of kind local businesses from across Milton Keynes.
More information on what's going on throughout the day will be announced over the next few months so make sure you hit interested on our Facebook event to keep up to date!
We're currently looking for stall holders, entertainers and would love to hear from ANYONE who'd like to get involved...
If this could be you, let us know by emailing communications@shenleychurchend-pc.co.uk
