    Learn to identify trees in our parkland and understand how we manage the landscape. This session provides and opportunity for you to learn about the different species of trees you will find across the parklands of Milton Keynes and key features to look for when identifying them.

    This session is suitable for those with no background knowledge of trees as well as those who are looking to improve their skills. During the session you will also learn about the different types of landscape management used by The Parks Trust such as coppicing and pollarding and the reasoning behind these decisions. It is a great opportunity to understand how the trees of Milton Keynes have changed over time and what the future might hold.

    Meet at the Queen Eleanor Street Carpark, off Queen Eleanor Street, Stony Stratford.

    The session will be held on Thursday 18th June at the Ouzel Valley Park from 11.00 am to 1.00pm.
