Social Status took to the stage at The Craufurd Arms, supported by MKFM's mascot Samantha The Panther on Friday 7th September 2012!

The local band performed a brilliant set including their debut single 'This Is The Place' to their local fans.

The performance marks the end of a successful tour of local venues ahead of exciting new projects for the band.

Social Status are a young pop/rock band with a serious edge, combining the catchiness of pop with their love of rock music, along with more interesting influences. This original & diverse yet commercial sounds has won the band praise from industry and fans alike, with BBC Introducing labelling them as 'fresh and unique.'

Social Status have been successful despite their young age, selling out three hometown shows, and finishing 2011 by performing at the international Clothes Show Live at Birmingham's NEC Arena. 2012 has also been a year to remember, with the band playing 15 summer festivals, breaking into the O2 Academy circuit and breaking into the London scene, as well as building a large & loyal fan base.

Social Status released their debut single 'This Is The Place' on the 1st September 2012, with a distribution deal in place via upcoming young persons magazine 'Maybe' for the single and official video.

They are the ones to watch in 2013!
