Xscape Blowout Festival

The Blow Out Festival took place on Saturday 28th July 2012 at Xscape.

The festival ran from midday to midnight and featured live fashion shows throughout the day, festival entertainment including circus performers and talking trees.

Plus candy floss, facepainting, a caricaturist, licensed bar, kids play area and fairground rides from Keith Emmett & Sons.

The event also included a spectacular pyrotechnic drumming show as the finale of IF 2012, DRUMS OF FIRE (LES TAMBOURS DE FEU) - a trail blazing procession by the powerful and stirring Deabru Beltzak.

Hailing from the Basque region of Spain, these fiery drummers unleash the devilish inhabitants of a witches’ coven into Central Milton Keynes . . .an extravaganza of live music, pyrotechnics and special effects to light up the streets in a truly incredible performance.

THE BLOW OUT SKATE PARK

6th - 26th AUGUST 2012

Xscape presents the BLOW OUT SKATE PARK which will be open daily from 12-8pm on the front piazza at Xscape.

The park includes quarter pipes, ramps, spines, driveways, flatbanks and a half pipe* and the park will have scheduled events for skateboarders, BMX riders and scooters... There's also a dedicated beginners area with a coach so if you've never skated before you can learn how the pros do it...

Plus spot prizes, special events and more!
