MKFM joined the local community in Galley Hill for a funday on Saturday 18th August 2012.
There was lots of fun for the whole family including zumba dancing, live music, the MKFM Megaslide and a 'sport day' with classic kids races including the Egg and Spoon Race.
The purpose of the day was to get the community behind the campaign to persuade the council to replace the old, rusty playground in the park with modern, safer equipment and the local children were able to give their ideas on the proposed designs.
There was also a giant line of paint handprints from all the local residents which will be submitted to the council to show the amount of local support.
