There was fundraising night to raise money for the Touch of Pink appeal at MK Hospital on Friday 19th October 2012 at WonderWorld nightclub in Xscape
£1 from everyone's entry, all VIP tables (£40.00 each) and 10% of all pink cocktails sold (£5.00 each or 2-for-1) went to the charity.
It was all for a good cause and to generate awareness of breast cancer.

The Touch of Pink Appeal
The Touch of Pink Appeal is raising £80,000 for a digital x-ray machine to be used by the Breast Care Unit at Milton Keynes General Hospital.
The new machine will further improve the service offered to patients in and around Milton Keynes. The new machine will shorten result waiting times, reduce the need for second operations and allow more patients to be seen every day.
The appeal is run by Healthcare Charity:MK, the registered charity for Milton Keynes Hospital, number 1048297.

Go Pink In October
Local businesses, schools and individuals are being asked to go pink this October and support the appeal, which is raising £80,000 for a digital x-ray machine, benefitting local breast cancer patients. Already £50,000 has been raised and activities during breast cancer awareness month will play a huge part in the appeal meeting its target.
Fundraising Manager Vanessa Holmes wants as many people as possible to give their fundraising a touch of pink – and is on the lookout for the most original fundraising idea.
She says: ‘It’s a great cause to support, because it will benefit local people and our community. We’re asking people to get involved as much or as little as they like – whether it’s holding a raffle or pub quiz, getting sponsored to take on a challenge, organising a cake sale or having a touch of pink day at school or work; we want to hear your fundraising ideas. The pinker the better!”
Local Pink Floyd tribute act ‘Little Pig’ got in on the act with a fundraiser on Friday 12 October at the Cock Hotel in Stony Stratford.
