Thames Valley Police reports a number of racist incidents in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police have said there has been a number of racist incidents across Milton Keynes in the past few days, including one arrest.

    A man from Bletchley was arrested yesterday in connection with a racist incident which is currently under investigation.

    The force also reported a number of 'shocking' comments being directed at the Muslim population on Thursday night. 

    Releasing the information on Twitter, the force said "We won't tolerate hate crime. Report on 101/999."

    MKFM has contacted Thames Valley Police and awaits further information on both of these incidents. 

    The police announced yesterday that armed officers would remain in place over the Bank Holiday despite the terror threat level being reduced from 'Critical' to 'Severe'.
