Milton Keynes Community Foundation are the leading independent grant-making charity working for and at the heart of Milton Keynes. They connect people and organisations who want to make positive changes and a lasting difference to our communities.
They are part of a network of Community Foundations which award grants in the regions we represent, across the UK, to strengthen local communities, create opportunities and tackle issues of disadvantage and exclusion.
To fund their grant making they rely on donations from both local families and organisations who have made a long term commitment to support the city. They strive to build a local philanthropic community which ensures their donors are connected to the causes they care about most.
MK Community Foundation award grants in the Milton Keynes Unitary Authority to support the work of local charities and community groups. Their support is aimed at improving the quality of life and creating opportunities for the people who live here both today and into the future. They support a wealth of groups and issues including; the elderly, people with special needs and disabilities, children and youth groups, sport, the arts, faith groups, social enterprise, heritage, health and ethnicity.
