Bletchley Park’s dazzling annual Blitz Night enchanted and delighted over 6,000 visitors on Saturday 3rd November 2012.

As the rousing wartime music rang out, the magnificent firework display set the night sky alight as thousands flocked to enjoy the event.  Visitors could warm themselves with burgers from the barbeque and a drink or two from the bar, while the children enjoyed the traditional funfair.

After over 15 years of sponsoring Blitz Night the wonderful people of local plumbing company, New City Heating, decided to make the 2012 event the best ever, by generously increasing their sponsorship to put on the most spectacular show to date.

MKFM were there, providing the music and announcements and our mascot, Samantha The Panther and our street team were joining in the wartime spirit and taking your picture. Check out the photo galleries here to see if you can spot yourself...

Not only are we providing a stunning show but also helping to raise badly needed funds for Bletchley Park.”

Gates opened at 5.30pm for the funfair and BBQ, and the fireworks got underway at 8pm.

All proceeds went to the Bletchley Park Charitable Trust.
