Young People Will Be Involved With MKFMMKFM is an exciting new radio station for Milton Keynes.

MKFM has been designed to be a radio station for you - the local community in Milton Keynes.

We're committed to bringing you local programmes - local travel news, events, music, sport, news... and fresh new music, current chart hits and the best tracks from the last few years.

We'll be providing workshops and training for local young people, supporting local charities and getting involved with events across the new city.

We will never replace your favourite local shows with a presenter in London or a 'regional' programme about the road conditions on the A1 and lost pets in Biggleswade and Hemel Hempstead!

MKFM are limited to being on air for a 28 day FM trial broadcast twice a year but we are using these broadcasts to demonstrate how we will sound if we are successful in our bid for a permanent community radio license from Ofcom.

If you like what you hear, we're asking listeners, community organisations and local businesses to 'back out bid' by giving us feedback to tell us why you'd like to be able to tune in to MKFM permanently.  You can do this here.

For more details about all the exciting programmes and features coming when MKFM launches, please check out the information below and keep an eye on mkfm.com because announcements will appear here first.
